1. Overview
This site uses very few cookies. None of the analytics or advertising cookies below are set unless you accept them in the consent banner. Until then, only a strictly-necessary record of your choice is kept in your browser.
2. Types of cookies
2.1 Strictly necessary
To remember whether you have accepted or rejected cookies, your choice is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key ab-consent. This is not a cookie and cannot be used to track you across sites. It is required for the consent mechanism to function and is always set.
2.2 Analytics and marketing (opt-in for cookies)
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) loads in a cookieless mode before you consent — it sends privacy-preserving pings that store no identifiers on your device, so it can count basic, anonymous visits without setting cookies. The cookies listed in section 3 are set only after you consent. Facebook Pixel and any Google Ads tags load only after you consent (to marketing). All of these load asynchronously, so they never block the initial page paint or Core Web Vitals.

Cookies are grouped by provider. Durations are typical and may vary.
The Google Ads cookies above (__gads, IDE, test_cookie) are set only if and when a Google Ads conversion tag is loaded. At present this site measures Google Ads conversions by importing GA4 key events (no direct Google Ads tag), so these specific cookies are not set; they would only appear if a direct Google Ads tag were added in the future and you consented to marketing.
4. Consent Mode
Before you choose, Google Consent Mode v2 keeps all storage denied by default. GA4 still loads in a cookieless mode and sends privacy-preserving pings (no identifiers stored on your device) so the site can count anonymous visits and attribute ad clicks without setting cookies. On "Accept", the scripts above load and the cookies may be set. On "Reject", no cookies are set — GA4 continues in cookieless mode only (pings without identifiers), and Facebook Pixel / Google Ads tags do not load.
To attribute paid ad clicks for visitors who have not consented, Consent Mode v2 may append an ad-click identifier (gclid) to the cookieless ping's page URL and use aggregate, non-identifying signals so the visit can be counted toward the google / cpc (Paid Search) source without identifying you. No cookie is written to your device for this unless you consent.
5. Managing and withdrawing consent
- Change your choice — use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer to re-open the banner.
- Browser settings — you can block or delete cookies in your browser's privacy settings.
- Provider opt-outs — Google Analytics opt-out · Meta / Facebook ad preferences · Google Ads settings.
6. Changes
If new cookies are introduced, this policy will be updated and the "Last updated" date revised. See also the Privacy Policy for how personal data is handled.
